The alarm came at 8:20 a.m. and SOS Alarm says the staff have been evacuated.
It is unclear how much of the roof has collapsed, but it has been reported by the staff who have now got out, says SOS Alarm's information officer Helen Vikberg to Bohusläningen .
Emergency services were called to the scene, but no ambulance was needed.
The roof collapse reportedly occurred in the eastern part of the shopping center.
Fredrik Wändel, the centre manager, confirms that part of the roof has given way.
We don't know why and I don't want to speculate, but there has been a lot of rain here this morning, he tells GP .
The entire shopping center is cordoned off and will remain so at least throughout the morning.
