According to senior prosecutor Markus Hankkio, who is leading the preliminary investigation, a compilation of "extensive investigative material" is underway. The final report of various investigations and final interviews with the suspect also remains, according to a press release from the Prosecution Authority.
The woman from Rönninge was reported missing after a night out last Christmas and was later found murdered. The suspect, a 26-year-old, has admitted to aggravated assault but denies murder.
