41-year-old Ronaldo has led Portugal to the World Cup semi-finals, and the obstacle they must overcome in the round of 16 is a tough one.
But Ronaldo intends to do his utmost to break down that obstacle.
"Whatever happens tomorrow, Cristiano will leave with a clear conscience. Not 100 percent, but 1000 percent," he says.
However, Ronaldo gives no indication of whether this World Cup will also be his last appearance for the national team:
I will finish, as I said a few years ago, when I want. Not when you want. I don't want to draw attention to it, the most important thing is that we play well tomorrow and have faith that we will move on.
