Cristiano Ronaldo is staying in Saudi Al-Nassr. This is written by both the Portuguese newspaper Record and the transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Portuguese football star is said to have confirmed that he is staying when he was interviewed after Sunday's Nations League final against Spain.

Nothing will change. Will I continue in Al-Nassr? Yes, said Ronaldo.

The statement comes shortly after the 40-year-old, in a statement on X, hinted that his time in the club is over.

Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia in January 2023, but has not yet won any title with Al-Nassr. In Portugal's national team jersey, he has scored 138 goals in 221 international matches.

Corrected: In an earlier version, Ronaldo's statistics from Portugal's national team and Al-Nassr had been mixed up.
