The Swedish volleyball women did not have much to set against. Romania won comfortably in the pool play match in the Golden League with 25–18, 25–17, 25–18.
We're fighting well, but we need to take more risks in attack and serve. We become a bit too passive and show uncertainty, says Hanna Hellvig to SVT.
The match was played in Örebro, where Sweden won the first match in the pool play on Thursday against Portugal with 3–1 in sets.
Sweden is the reigning champion in the European Golden League.
Next weekend, matches await against Croatia and Spain in Alicante and the weekend after that, the pool play concludes in Radom, Poland, with matches against Ukraine and Slovakia. The four best teams in the pool play compete in the Final Four with semifinals and medal matches on June 28-29.
Hopefully, we can learn a lot from this. We need more time to get everything together so we can get home and train more simply, says Isabelle Haak to SVT.
