Crisis-stricken Roma sacks coach and club legend Daniele De Rossi. He is replaced by Ivan Juric.
"The club's decision is made for the team's best, to quickly return to our desired path, at a time when the season is still in its starting phase", Roma writes in a statement.
De Rossi took over after José Mourinho, after the Portuguese was sacked in January. Initially, the club was pleased with De Rossi and therefore gave him a contract over the 2026-2027 season last summer. Roma has, however, had a tough start to the season, with three draws and a loss.
As a player, De Rossi made 616 appearances for Roma between 2002-2019.
Ivan Juric becomes Roma's third coach in 2024 and has a contract for the rest of the season. The 49-year-old Croat comes from a coaching job in Torino.
Next, Roma will face Udinese, who lead Serie A.
