The 31-year-old national team star distinctly headed in a cross from French strike partner Melvine Malard to make it 1–0 for United away against Wolfsburg in the 14th minute.
The German home team then turned the game around with three goals in 28 minutes (minutes 17, 37 and 45) and eventually won 5–2. It was United's first defeat in four games in the league phase of the prestigious football tournament.
