On Saturday, Robyn will perform at Unity Arena in Bærum outside Oslo, and the concert was originally supposed to end at 11 p.m., just as the historic World Cup match for the Norwegians begins. But the gig must be completed in good time before Norway meets England in the World Cup quarter-finals, and will therefore instead end no later than 8:30 p.m., reports VG.
"This gives the audience plenty of time to move on to friends and gathering places to follow what could be one of the greatest sporting experiences in Norwegian history," says organizer Peer Osmundsvaag in a press release, according to VG.
In connection with the announcement, Robyn addressed a call to the Norwegian team. "Now you can swear to me and win this Norway!", she writes on Instagram.
At the same time, she takes the opportunity to slip in a loving wink, referring to the fact that Sweden came third in 1994, the last time the Men's World Cup was held in North America.
"Fight on, there's still a bit left to the bronze medal!!".
