Robin Olsen was substituted in at halftime when his Aston Villa faced Chelsea away in the Premier League. The Swedish national team goalkeeper has been injured and was not included when Sweden secured the group win in the Nations League a couple of weeks ago.
The London team dominated the match and had 2–0 at halftime after goals by Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernández. Olsen seemed to hold tight in the second half but was helpless when Chelsea star Cole Palmer curled the ball into the net in the 83rd minute.
Chelsea had further chances but Olsen made some high-class saves and the match ended 3–0.
The London team is now in third place in the Premier League, on the same points as Arsenal. But Manchester City can overtake them if they win the top match against Liverpool on Sunday evening.
