The experienced left-back, who has been one of the team's most reliable players for nearly a decade, will leave when his contract expires this summer.
A move was already close during the winter window, with Tottenham as a possible destination, but no transfer ever materialised. Now it is clear that his time at Liverpool is coming to an end.
"I will always look back on incredible memories of this football club. I have given the club my heart and soul and there is not much I regret," Robertson said in a video on Liverpool's website.
The 32-year-old joined Liverpool in 2017 and has made 373 appearances for the Reds, helping them win two league titles and the Champions League.
