Pop star Robbie Williams has broken The Beatles' old record for the number of albums that have topped the British charts.
The new record was set in connection with Williams' latest album "Britpop" - his sixteenth album to reach number one on the list.
The 51-year-old Briton began his career as a member of the pop group Take That, and has sold an estimated 20 million albums in the UK since releasing his first solo album "Life Thru a Lens" in 1997.
