The Swedish mountain bike star had a dramatic start to the race when she collided with Savilia Blunk early on, SVT reports. Blunk fell, but Rissveds managed to hold on and then stormed to victory.
At the finish line, after almost an hour and a half of cycling, she was 56 seconds ahead of Dutch runner-up Puck Pieterse.
"I wanted to be brave today and leave without regrets. I just went for it and it worked," Rissveds says in the HBO Max broadcast.
32-year-old Rissveds tops the overall World Cup standings with 788 points. Second is Switzerland's Sina Frei with 708 points.
