Next week, Campus Risbergska in Örebro will reopen. However, the teaching will take place in other premises, reports Svenska Dagbladet.

From and including next Monday, February 24, Campus Risbergska will reopen for teaching again. It will then have been almost three weeks since the mass shooting on February 4, when ten people were shot to death by an identified perpetrator who is then said to have taken his own life.

When, or if, teaching can resume in the premises that are still a cordoned-off crime scene is currently not known.

We are currently looking at alternative premises since we cannot open the school itself. We will acquire more premises as needed, says Mokhtar Bennis, upper secondary school and adult education chief in Örebro municipality, to SvD.

We will start next week so that we don't lose time. It's good for the students to get back to normal as soon as possible.

Campus Risbergska is the center for municipal adult education in Örebro, with over 2,600 students and approximately 200 employees.
