A delegation from the Riksdag was supposed to travel to Nicosia in Cyprus on Tuesday to participate in a conference on foreign, security and defense policy, writes DN. Now the trip is canceled.
"I made the decision to cancel the trip last night, as there are problems with canceled flights and airspace restrictions, in addition to the general security situation," Aron Emilsson (SD), chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, writes to DN.
Iran attacked a British military base in Cyprus with drones on Monday and has threatened further attacks.
