The carmaker, part of the Chinese Geely family along with Volvo Cars, reported another huge loss. For the full year 2025, it reported a loss of $2.36 billion, roughly 22 billion kronor. That was worse than in 2024, when the loss was $2.05 billion.
The 2025 results include impairment losses of just over $1 billion.
But CEO Michael Lohscheller highlighted that sales rose 34 percent.
“2025 was a record year for Polestar, with total sales exceeding 60,000 cars and revenues exceeding $3 billion,” he wrote in a press release.
