Victor Söderström returns to Sweden and SHL-newcomer Brynäs after four years in North America, where he played in the NHL and AHL in Arizona's organization.
The 23-year-old ice hockey defenseman, who previously played with Brynäs in SHL and at youth and junior levels, has signed a two-year contract with the Gävle club.
"I'm looking forward to the season and getting to play in front of all Brynäs fans again. I'm here to contribute and make a difference", says Skutskär-born Victor Söderström to Brynäs' website.
On Saturday, Brynäs will play their SHL premiere away against Linköping, and Söderström is expected to be ready to play then.
