Retail trade's sales volume increased in March by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month in calendar-adjusted and seasonally adjusted figures, according to the Statistics Sweden (SCB).
Specialty store trade increased by 0.8 percent, while daily goods trade, excluding Systembolaget, decreased by 0.2 percent.
"The annual development within daily goods trade has for a longer period been positive. Lately, specialty goods trade also shows a positive development in sales volume. Altogether, it makes the annual development for the total retail trade show a clear increase for the fourth month in a row", says Johan Nyström, statistician at SCB in a press release.
