Residents were evacuated from a block in Frölunda, Gothenburg, after someone reported a suspicious object in a rubbish dump. Police set up cordons while bomb disposal experts assessed the object.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Monday, police announced that the object had been examined and was not dangerous.
The cordons have been lifted, but police remain at the scene to carry out further investigative measures.
