A 50-year-old man has been detained in Blekinge District Court on probable cause suspected of two rapes and several other cases of serious sexual offenses, local media report.
He was arrested in absentia at the beginning of August and was deprived of his liberty at the end of last week.
In addition to the rapes, the man is suspected of gross sexual assault against children, gross violation of women's integrity, child abuse, gross assault, and assault.
The suspected crimes were committed in 2022 and 2023 in Karlskrona Municipality.
