An agreement is to be finalized, which means that the Portuguese will stay in the Saudi club until June 2026, writes AFP.
Ronaldo, who turned 40 last week, made the notable – and in various circles controversial – transfer to al-Nassr in January 2023.
He then signed a contract reportedly worth a staggering approximately 2.5 billion kronor.
Since then, the world star has scored 82 goals in 90 matches for the Saudi club.
As early as August, Ronaldo expressed himself positively about his future in Saudi Arabia – and that his plan was to end his professional career in al-Nassr.
"It could happen soon or in a year or in two", he said six months ago.
