Rodri, named the tournament's best player when Spain won the World Cup last summer, will undergo the mandatory medical examination on Tuesday morning, Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo writes. Barça then plans to present its star signing in the afternoon.
Rodri left Atlético Madrid in 2019 and has since played for Manchester City. In 2024, he was awarded the Ballon d'Or, the award given to the world's best footballer.
Barcelona is said to be paying up to 840 million kronor, including bonuses, for the Spaniard.
