At least 18 people were killed and around 40 injured in an Israeli attack on a tent camp outside Rafah in southern Gaza. This is according to the Palestinian section of the aid organisation Red Crescent.
The camp is said to be located just outside the security zone established on the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military, IDF, claims, according to Haaretz, that a preliminary investigation shows that they did not attack the tent camp.
Earlier on Friday, at least 17 people were killed in and around the city of Gaza in Israeli air strikes, reports Spanish EFE, citing the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
