In total, around 60 people have been killed on Thursday, according to the civil defense in Gaza.
Following deadly attacks in several places, reports are emerging on Thursday evening of a new attack on the refugee camp Nuseirat in central Gaza. According to hospital staff, at least 25 people have been confirmed dead and around 50 people injured.
Israel's military has so far not commented on the incident.
This is the second deadly attack in Nuseirat today – earlier on Thursday, the civil defense reported that 15 people, six of them children, were killed in another attack in Nuseirat.
Early in the day, 12 guards who were to supervise aid deliveries were killed, according to the civil defense spokesperson Mahmud Basal.
Seven of the guards were killed in Rafah and five in Khan Yunis.
The occupation has once again targeted those who secure the aid trucks, said Basal, adding that dozens of people were injured in the attack, including several children.
The trucks were carrying flour and were on their way to a warehouse belonging to the UN's organization for Palestinian refugees (Unwra). Israel claims to have attacked Hamas members who intended to plunder the trucks.
According to witnesses, residents plundered flour from the trucks after the attacks. The UN and aid organizations have repeatedly warned of the acute humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Several people are also reported to have been killed in Gaza City.
