Earlier in the night, the Russian city of Voronezh was also subjected to a large-scale attack, according to The Kyiv Independent. A three-year-old boy has died after a drone crash caused a fire in a residential building in a suburb of Voronezh, the region's governor wrote on Telegram. The Russian defence forces detected and destroyed 36 drones in the airspace over the city and six districts of the region, the governor further wrote.

Ukraine has also reportedly launched attacks on the Russian-annexed Crimean peninsula, according to Moscow's Crimea governor Sergei Aksyonov. At least one person has been killed and four injured in the attacks.

Ukraine's attacks on Russia's oil infrastructure have led to rising gasoline prices and restrictions on sales, with residents in several Russian regions reporting hours-long queues at gas stations.
