Iran has made at least 15 attempts to kill or kidnap Jews on British soil, according to a report written by the British Parliament's Security and Intelligence Committee (ISC), reports the Telegraph.
The committee warns of a "sharp increase" in threats to critics of the Islamic regime and describes how the Iranian intelligence service uses a third party to carry out the actions in the UK. The threat is mainly directed at dissidents and other Iran critics, but the threat to Jewish individuals on British soil has also increased.
The report describes the threat from Iran as "less strategic and on a smaller scale than Russia and China", but calls it "persistent – and above all – unpredictable".
