"It is wrong and misleading to claim that the FIFA president has made any promise regarding who will host the 2030 World Cup final. A decision on where it will be played will be made by FIFA when the time is right," the spokesperson says.
The 2030 World Cup will be hosted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal.
On Wednesday, The Times reported that FIFA President Infantino had promised the World Cup final to Morocco if the country's football association gave him support.
Infantino has fallen out of favour in the football world after his proposal to sell shares of FIFA's championships to private investors, which was later withdrawn. The FIFA presidential election is next year, and Infantino is running for re-election.
