Last summer, SVT reported that security rounds on different wards at Helsingborg Hospital had been reported as completed on repeated occasions, despite the security personnel only being there for a few seconds.
It had also been shown that rounds on a large number of occasions had been marked as performed without the doors to the wards even being opened.
Region Skåne is refraining from extending the agreement, which expires in four months, with reference to "non-performance of agreed services".
It's about quality deficiencies of such magnitude that the contract has not been fulfilled. It's serious because it's about security issues, says acting emergency director Rasmus Havmöller to SVT.
