A derby match in the Libyan football league was interrupted after supporters stormed the pitch. The Portuguese referee was injured as well as several supporters, according to officials.

al-Ittihad's player bus was also set on fire, according to the club.

al-Ahli puts the blame on the opposing team's players for the unrest.
Local media reports that the Portuguese referee Fábio José Costa was injured in the brawl.
