Ohanian has invested in shares worth 20 million pounds, equivalent to approximately 258 million kronor, in the women's team of the big club, corresponding to a shareholding of around 8-10 percent, according to BBC.
The 42-year-old, who is married and has children with tennis legend Serena Williams, has previously invested in Angel City in the American league NWSL.
Chelsea's chairman and co-owner is American Todd Boehly. The club is owned by his consortium Blueco.
