The Red Cross is forced to temporarily stop all work in Gaza City, they announce.

As a result of Israel's warfare and escalated offensive, all personnel on site are being evacuated.

"ICRC continues to strive to provide civilians in Gaza City with support when circumstances permit, from our offices in Dayr al-Balah and Rafah which continue to be in operation", reads a statement from the International Red Cross Committee (ICRC).

Last Friday, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) also announced that they are leaving Gaza City due to Israel's expanded military offensive.

"We have no other choice but to stop our operations since our clinics are being surrounded by Israeli forces", said MSF's coordinator in Gaza Jacob Granger in a press release.
