A recycling center in Örnsköldsvik was closed acutely on Tuesday. The reason was that a bottle with the explosive substance nitroglycerin was received, reports Örnsköldsviks Allehanda.
The recycling center was closed at 3:30 pm after a police decision, states the municipal company Miva on its website.
The police were on site and the national bomb squad was called in. At 5:30 pm, the police announced that the operation on site was completed.
"The national bomb squad will continue to be involved to determine what it is about in collaboration with the waste management facility. The object/substance is locked up and there is no danger to the public", writes the police on its website.
