"Once again we report a strong result, driven by transfer revenue in combination with good cost control. We are well on our way to reaching our financial goals faster than planned," Hammarby football CEO Richard von Yxkull told the club's website.
The multi-million profit comes after the club reported a transfer net of 194 million kronor, driven in part by the sale of Bazoumana Touré to German side Hoffenheim. This came as audience revenue increased, contributing to total revenue of 455 million kronor, a record for Hammarby, according to the club.
