Record prize money at the Australian Open - SEK 712 million

This year, tennis players at the Australian Open are competing for prize money equivalent to SEK 712 million - an increase of 16 percent.

The first Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year, which starts on January 18, will increase the prize money by 16 percent. Players will now share the equivalent of SEK 712 million. The men's and women's winners will receive SEK 25.5 million, an increase of 19 percent.

The prize money for the qualifying rounds will increase by 16 percent, and all players in the main draw will receive at least a 10 percent increase in prize money compared with 2025.

"This demonstrates our commitment to supporting tennis careers at all levels," said Craig Tiley, CEO of Tennis Australia.
