The activity on the housing market continues to increase. In November, the number of sold apartments increased by 20 percent compared to the same period in 2024, according to new figures from the housing website Hemnet.

As for villas, the increase is simultaneously 17 percent, which indicates that 2024 will be a record year in terms of the number of sales, writes Hemnet. So far this year, 48,800 villas have been sold.

"In November, we have had both a double interest rate cut and indications of forthcoming easing of credit restrictions. This increases optimism in the market and increases confidence in rising prices, making more buyers willing to meet sellers' prices," says Hemnet's analyst Erik Holmberg in a press release.
