Viaplay does not publish streaming figures, only stating that Thursday's playoff victory against Ukraine is "the most watched ever on the streaming service."
"Yesterday we reached a new level with an all-time high," said Viaplay's sports director Erik Westberg in a press release.
On the linear channel Viaplay Sport, the entire broadcast reached just over 1 million viewers, peaking at 741,000 with ten minutes left to play.
In comparison, SVT's broadcasts from the Winter Olympics in Italy in February reached over 2 million viewers on several occasions.
