According to preliminary figures, the match is estimated to have attracted between 3.5 and 4 million viewers on television and streaming services.
"During the match, TV4 Play reached its highest level ever for active users during a sporting event," TV4 said in a press release.
"The fact that we are breaking records in both usage and subscription growth on the same day is clear proof that the audience wants to follow the championship with us," said Johan Cederqvist, sports director at TV4.
SVT will broadcast the final group-stage match against Japan on June 26.
