The 27-year-old Blomqvist has signed a contract until June 30, 2028.
Rebecka Blomqvist says to the club's website that she in her matches against Frankfurt over the years has seen a club in development.
”I want to contribute with my qualities to the team and am convinced that much is possible here, both nationally and internationally, in the coming years”, says Blomqvist who in Wolfsburg became league champion once and German cup champion four times.
Frankfurt finished third in the Bundesliga the past season, one point behind second-placed Wolfsburg and nine points behind the champion team Bayern München. The third place means that Frankfurt took a place in the qualifying round for Champions League.
