During the Champions League match between Real Madrid and Benfica, center-back Raúl Asencio had to be taken off on a stretcher in a neck brace after a serious head-on collision involving teammate Eduardo Camavinga and Benfica's Rafa Silva.
Now Asencio wrote on
that it wasn't that dangerous after all.
"Thank you for all your encouraging messages! It was just a blast," he wrote.
The match ended 2-1 to Real, who are now through to the last 16 of the Champions League. The draw to determine their next opponent will be made on Friday.
