Wages on the labor market increased by 3.4 percent in March 2025 compared to the same month the previous year, reports the Mediation Institute.

In the private sector, wages increased preliminarily by 3.2 percent, but are expected to be adjusted up to 3.3 percent. This means a clear dampening compared to 3.8 percent in February. The decrease is primarily a consequence of a lower growth rate among workers, writes the Mediation Institute in a press release.

In the public sector, wages are expected to have increased by 3.9 percent, which is a certain slowdown since earlier.

Consumer prices excluding mortgage rates (KPIF) rose by 2.3 percent in March, compared to 2.9 percent in February. KPI, which includes mortgage rates, increased by 0.5 percent.
