Real Madrid's right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was injured as early as the fifth minute against Marseille in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. Now the club announces that the 26-year-old has got an injury in the left hamstring.
According to local media, the former Liverpool player will be out for just over three weeks.
In the match against Marseille, Dani Carvajal was substituted in for Alexander-Arnold. With 20 minutes left to play, the Spaniard was given a direct red card and will therefore be suspended in the Champions League.
Real Madrid won the match 2–1.
