Eskilstuna United is returning to the Swedish Women's Championship. It's clear after Saturday's 5-0 win against Örebro. It means a lot, says two-goal scorer Felicia Rogic in Expressen's broadcast.

The conditions were simple for Eskilstuna ahead of the match against third-placed Örebro – a win and the team had secured promotion to the top league.

Already in the eighth minute, Eskilstuna took the lead through Felicia Rogic, and just over ten minutes later the 32-year-old became a two-goal scorer when Rogic scored his second goal of the day.

Fifteen minutes later, Wilma Öhrman added another goal for Eskilstuna, and in the second half, Gabi Rennie and Emma Bülow each added a goal to make the final score 5–0.

What was the result in the end? 5–0, that's no joke, says Rogic after the match.

The victory means 59 points scored and secured promotion to the women's Swedish league with two rounds left to play.

"I'm touched. I'm so happy and I'm so proud of the team, and I allow myself to be proud of myself today, and I'm just so happy," Rogic said.

The last time Eskilstuna played in the women's Swedish league was in 2022, when the club was forcibly relegated due to being denied an elite license.

In parallel, Uppsala won against Umeå 2–0, and Uppsala is also now approaching the women's Swedish game. The team could be completely finished if Trelleborg drops points in their match against Mallbacken on Saturday.
