The Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova has reached her first semi-final in Wimbledon.
I have no words right now. It's an incredible moment for me right now, she says in the victory interview.
Krejcikova won the quarter-final against Jelena Ostapenko, Latvia, in two straight sets with the scores 6–4, 7–6 (7–4).
In the semi-final, tough opposition awaits: fourth-ranked Jelena Rybakina. The Kazakh won her quarter-final against Elina Svitolina, Ukraine, with the scores 6–3, 6–2.
When asked what Krejcikova thinks about what awaits, she responds:
I don't know. I've never experienced anything like this, so I'll see and I can tell you after the semi-final how it feels.
