Since the safety stop was introduced on Thursday, employees at the Command Regiment in Enköping have been allowed to work from home or from other premises. This is reported by Enköpingsposten.

A safety stop is imposed by the workplace safety representative when there is an immediate and serious danger to the life or health of employees.

"It is of course very remarkable and sad. It affects our operations," Sara Svallin, communications manager at the Command Regiment, tells the newspaper.

According to Sara Svallin, the safety stop is not just due to rats and rat droppings; it is also because the fire extinguishers have not been inspected.
