Rasmus Sandin had two assists as Washington defeated Vegas 3-2

Sandin set up the game's first goal when teammate Pierre-Luc Dubois put the puck in the net less than a minute into the second period.

Sandin also assisted on Jakob Chychrun's 3–0 goal.

Vegas, however, kicked things up a gear in the final period, scoring two goals, but the team was unable to catch up with Washington.
