The two rappers are, according to SVT, part of each competing criminal network south of Stockholm, which has allied itself with the Dalen network respectively Foxtrot.
Through rap texts, music videos, and social media, they are said to have sent murder threats back and forth.
Before any of the murder threats could be carried out, however, the now indicted man was arrested, along with four other individuals linked to the Dalen network, during the New Year's weekend.
In addition to conspiracy to commit murder, the 20-year-old is being prosecuted for involving a minor in criminal activity. Five people are being prosecuted for their involvement in the murder plans, all of whom deny the charges.
The conflict between the different networks is also believed to be the motive behind a shooting in the Stockholm suburb of Fruängen in February this year, in which a boy was killed and another injured, according to information provided to SVT.
