Offset, who was formerly part of the hip-hop group Migos, is currently receiving treatment for a gunshot wound, which is not considered life-threatening.
"We can confirm that Offset was shot and is currently in the hospital receiving medical care," the artist's spokesperson told Variety.
His condition is described as "stable."
Details of the incident are still scarce, but according to TMZ, the rapper was shot near a hotel in the city. Police say two people have been arrested following the incident.
