Rapper Erik "Fricky" Friman is changing career and wants to focus less on himself as a solo artist. Instead, he thinks he will become a member of the band The Original Desktopper, who wrote and produced his latest album, he writes on Instagram.
"My role will still be as a singer and probably to some extent the front figure, but that's mostly because no one else in the band wants to take it", writes Fricky, who describes his solo artist career as "somewhat uninteresting".
"You who have been following have also heard me complain over the years about pressure and stress, and so on, but right now it's mainly about a newfound love for music and art", he continues.
In his post, Fricky, 32, reveals that he is working parallel to music as a booker, arranger, and graphic designer.
Correction: In an earlier version, it was incorrectly stated that Fricky is quitting as a solo artist.
