In the beginning of June, a man convicted of rape escaped from Oslo prison in Norway. Now – one and a half months later – he has been arrested in Sweden, according to Norwegian TV2.
It was in connection with a health check that the man managed to escape. The day after, he was internationally wanted.
According to the police, the man is to be extradited to Norway as soon as possible, writes TV2.
The man was sentenced to 16 years in prison for rape against two children on multiple occasions between 2017 and 2021. He was also convicted of threatening his ex-wife.
