Zibanejad and his New York Rangers were once again held scoreless at Madison Square Garden. When Seth Jarvis put Carolina up 3–0 in an open goal with just over a minute left in the game, the Rangers players were all hanging their heads.
"No one wants to win at home more than we do right now," says Zibanejad.
The loss is the team's eighth so far this season and the team is in the bottom tier of the Eastern Conference's limping standings.
The Rangers started Tuesday night's game better, but as Pjotr Kochetkov in the Carolina goal blocked shots, they became fewer and fewer. The Rangers went a full 21 minutes without getting a shot on the Russian and in the third period they managed only one.
