An employee at a liquor store in Ashland, Oregon, was greeted by broken bottles and alcohol on the floor. The culprit was not far away, however, inside the store's restroom.
Completely exhausted right next to the toilet lay a raccoon who had obviously taken one too many squirts.
The raccoon is believed to have managed to get in through an opening in the ceiling and then went on a rampage through the store's merchandise. An employee at the city's animal protection agency, The Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter, was given the unusual task of picking up the culprit and then making sure he sobered up.
"After a couple of hours of sleep and no signs of injury (other than a hangover and perhaps bad life choices) he was able to be released back into the wild," they wrote in a statement.
